Think breath-taking mountain scenery, quaint cobbled streets, jaw-dropping architecture and rich history. Ronda seriously has it all. Located in the province of Malaga in Andalusia, Southern Spain, Ronda is the perfect spot for an adventure getaway. At just over an hour by car from both Malaga and Seville and two hours by bus it’s easily accessible. We will be based in Ronda’s old town, with sleepy palm-tree covered squares and real Andalusian character. In Ronda’s new town you’ll find the hustle and bustle of bars, shops and restaurants. The great thing is that Ronda is small enough to be explored on foot! However, if you fancy exploring Ronda by bike, you can rent one from the hotel at an affordable price. The undeniable star of the show is the Puente Nuevo - New bridge, which spans the impressive Tajo gorge. Fun fact- Ronda was once a favourite hideaway for both the likes of Ernest Hemingway and Orson Welles! It’s pretty darn easy to see why. Close to Ronda are the Sierra de Grazalema and the Sierra de las Nieves, two spectacular and relatively untouched mountain ranges where most of our outdoors activities will take place.

What else can I do in Ronda?

Apart from our organised group activities, here’s the low down on some other tried, tested and highly recommended things to do in Ronda!

FLAMENCO PERFORMANCE

Prepare to be mesmerized with this raw and intense performance by local flamenco dancers and musicians at our favorite spot, El Quinqué. This was a huge hit with our travellers in 2019 and we’re looking forward to sharing with you again in 2020.
