About Tarifa

Tarifa, located at the southern tip of Spain and literally a stone’s throw from Africa is hands down one of our favourite sober holiday spots. With miles of white sandy beaches, rustic Andalusian charm and an ever-growing wellness community, this little gem literally has it all. Think authentic mouthwatering tapas, quaint local architecture, morning sea dips and beachy sunsets. What are you waiting for?

Your Itinerary

DAY 1

Hotel check-in with a champagne reception

This time we’ll be staying in the funky boutique hotel Misiana located in the old town of Tarifa. We love this place because of its comfy rooms and artistic vibe. Each person will have their own individual room with en-suite.

What better way to kick off our holiday than with some alcohol-free champers on the roof terrace with views over the old town and the Strait of Gibraltar. Morning yoga and mindfulness meditation anyone? Keep reading!

DAY 2

Daily morning yoga and mindfulness meditation

Each morning we’ll head to the beach for some invigorating yoga followed by mindfulness meditation led by Maite. If you’re game, let’s go for a refreshing sea dip afterwards to cool off before breakfast. Can you think of a better way to start the day? We can’t! Don’t worry if you’re a complete yoga or meditation newbie. Everyone is welcome.

Hike with views of Africa

Did you know that you can see Morocco clearly from Tarifa? It’s one of the reasons we love this place! We’ll head off for an invigorating two-hour guided hike with some of the best views in southern Spain. It’s the perfect chance to learn about your surroundings and get to know your fellow travellers.

DAY 3

Tapas cooking experience

Let’s tantalise those taste buds Spanish style with an authentic tapas cooking experience. We’ll learn to make five typical dishes including some of the favorites, gazpacho, croquettes, patatas bravas and crispy fried squid. Vegans and veggies are welcome.

DAY 4

Paddleboarding

Let’s plunge into the fresh salty goodness for some paddleboarding! No experience? No problem! It’s all a bit of lighthearted fun and a chance to learn something new. Why not make a day of it and soak up some vitamin D on Tarifa’s white sandy beaches. If it’s too windy for paddleboarding we’ll do another water-based activity instead.

Alcohol-free drinks tasting

It wouldn’t be a proper We Love Lucid experience without some tasty alcohol-free tipples. Expect cocktails, fizz and refreshing new flavours and not a hangover in sight!

Beach club dinner with sunset views

We’ll go out with a bang on our last night at one of Tarifa’s hottest spots, Gaia Beach Club, for some mouthwatering eats. We’ll watch the sun go down as we soak up the chilled vibes and reminisce about the good times we’ve had.

DAY 5

We’ll say our goodbyes as we check out of our hotel and head back to Gibraltar airport. We hope it’s not the last time we see you!
